T2 – MFT Systems Engineer (SFG)
Summary
Supports and maintains MFT systems, handling configuration, troubleshooting, and client coordination.

Summary
Supports and maintains MFT systems, handling configuration, troubleshooting, and client coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support SFG, Connect:Direct, and SFTP transmissions
- Monitor and resolve file transfer failures
- Troubleshoot protocol and connectivity issues
- Support client onboarding and testing
- Manage encryption (PGP, SSH keys)
- Perform initial root cause analysis
- Maintain documentation and support on-call
- 3–5 years of experience in file transmissions builds and support
- Strong knowledge of:
- Sterling File Gateway / Connect:Direct
- SFTP and HTTPS protocols
- Working knowledge of:
- Linux/AIX environments
- SQL (basic queries for validation)
- Understanding of:
- Encryption standards (PGP, SSL/TLS, PKI)
- Experience with:
- Client onboarding and file setup
- Incident management tools (ServiceNow, Moogsoft)
- Ability to troubleshoot independently and coordinate with teams
