Systems Engineer I

Join Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) as a Systems Engineer I and contribute to innovative projects in the aerospace and defense sector. In this role, you will be involved in the design, development, and testing of complex systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Participate in system design and architecture development.
• Assist with requirements analysis and definition.
• Conduct system integration and testing activities.
• Support documentation and configuration management efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and test engineers.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Basic understanding of systems engineering principles.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous internship or co-op experience in an engineering role.
• Familiarity with various engineering tools and methodologies.
