Responsibilities:
- Assist in basic requirements engineering, systems integration, V&V, and MBSE tasks.
- Support system and decision analysis, technical planning, and risk management under supervision.
- Contribute to project tasks with foundational knowledge in. architecture/design development and technical monitoring.
- Participate in lifecycle management activities.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Demonstrate eagerness to learn and grow within the field.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Basic understanding of Systems modeling and simulation tools.
- Must have been a SNC Summer 2025 Intern
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
- Basic Understanding of multiple Engineering principles and practices.
- Familiarity working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
- Conceptual knowledge of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Internship or cooperative education experience in systems engineering.
- Basic knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
- Understanding of requirements management and system modelling tools, such as DOORS, Cameo, MATLAB.
- Knowledge of industry-standard system engineering design principles, to include, classical and MBSE.
- Experienced or certified in International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) standards [Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP)].
- Familiarity with baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of highly integrated trade studies and analysis of alternatives.
- Exposure to establishing and tracking key Technical Performance Measurements (TPM).
Essential Functions:
- Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
- Hand/finger dexterity for system modeling and documentation.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with occasional travel.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $82,039.23 - $112,803.95. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
