Job Description
You will be the Systems Engineer (Radar/EW) - Level 4 for the Skunk Works which is responsible for advancing radar and electronic‑warfare capabilities on Lockheed Martin’s most advanced aeronautics programs.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Systems Engineer (Radar/EW) - Level 4 you will be responsible for delivering high‑performance RF solutions that enable mission‑critical radar and EW systems across the product lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform RF engineering analyses and modeling for radar and electronic‑warfare subsystems.
- Contribute to system design, development, integration, test, and production activities.
- Apply Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices to create and maintain digital system models.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to validate requirements and ensure seamless integration.
- Support sustainment and troubleshoot performance issues throughout the hardware lifecycle.

You are an experienced RF engineer with a proven track record in radar and electronic‑warfare systems. You thrive in fast‑paced, high‑stakes environments, bring disciplined analytical skills, and excel at collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Your curiosity drives you to adopt modern MBSE tools, and your commitment to quality ensures reliable, mission‑ready solutions.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance with an Investigation within 5 years to start.

Basic Qualifications
- Experience in systems engineering lifecycle, development, requirements decomposition, and application of processes and tools
- Experience with Radar and Electronic Warfare principles, and sensor operations
- Knowledge of Low Observables (LO) applications
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience working independently and in cross functional or small technical teams
Desired skills
- Experience with Supplier management
- Familiarity with agile methodology and processes
- Familiarity with use of Confluence and JIRA
- CAMEO, CATIA V5 or V6 experience
- Understanding of LM system engineering processes
- Experience with Military and/or Government programs
- Ability to obtain DoD Top Secret/SCI Clearance

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
