JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for staffing the 7x24 command center to ensure operational availability of systems, networks, and applications. Monitors the data center environment to ensure the availability of all business applications. This full-time position is on the 3rd shift: starting Sunday from 11:00PM – 7:30AM Eastern Time Zone

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provides operational support for the 7x24 enterprise data center. Communicates and escalates issues as required and follow through to ensure system resolution
2. Monitors identifies and supports the resolution of problems using a monitoring console. Coordinates as necessary with technical staff.
3. Provides service desk support.
4. Possesses a working knowledge of SFTP file transfers.
5. Possesses a working knowledge of batch scheduling.
6. Possesses a working knowledge of UNIX and Windows operations systems
7. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
8. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
9. Demonstrate Company’s Competencies and Core values held within.

JOB SCOPE: The Incumbent relies on judgment and experience to complete job responsibilities. The incumbent possesses and applies a range of technical knowledge and executes procedures to support 24x7 data center operations. The incumbent must be able to make decisions and escalate issues when needed to other technical groups. Work is varied and sometimes complex.
