Systems / V&V Engineer (10297)

Job Summary 

We are looking for an experienced Systems / Verification & Validation Engineer to join our Medical Device R&D team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in system verification, software validation, automation using Python, and testing of regulated medical devices. The role involves defining test strategies, designing verification plans, executing system-level validation, and ensuring compliance with global medical device standards. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Develop and execute System Verification & Validation (V&V) strategies for medical device software and integrated systems.  

• Design verification plans, test protocols, test cases, and traceability matrices based on system requirements.  

• Perform system integration testing, functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, and reliability testing.  

• Develop and maintain Python-based automation frameworks for system and software verification.  

• Execute manual and automated verification activities for embedded, desktop, and connected medical systems.  

• Validate software against system requirements and regulatory standards.  

• Perform risk-based testing by collaborating with Systems Engineering, Quality, and Regulatory teams.  

• Support defect analysis, root cause investigation, debugging, and verification of fixes.  

• Develop automation tools, simulators, stubs, and test utilities to improve test efficiency.  

• Generate verification reports and maintain complete design history documentation.  

• Participate in design reviews, requirement reviews, and risk assessments.  

• Ensure complete traceability between system requirements, test cases, execution results, and defects.  

• Work closely with Software, Hardware, Firmware, Algorithms, Clinical, and Regulatory teams throughout the product lifecycle.
