Position Overview - Workforce Insights & Reporting

 

The Talent Acquisition team is seeking a highly analytical graduate-level intern to support workforce insights, reporting, and dashboard development initiatives. This role will focus on transforming recruiting and workforce planning data into meaningful visualizations that enable data-driven hiring decisions.

The intern will partner closely with internal teams and collaborate w leveraging approved enterprise data sources and tools to develop reporting solutions that improve visibility into hiring demand, pipeline activity, and workforce trends.

This position is embedded within Talent Acquisition to ensure alignment with business priorities while working cross-functionally with enterprise data partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop dashboards and visualizations using advanced Excel and/orPower BI

  • Integrate data related to:

    • Headcount and organizational structure

    • Open requisitions and hiring activity

    • Workforce planning projections and future demand

    • Recruiting pipeline and performance metrics

  • Translate business questions into analytical outputs and actionable insights

  • Support workforce planning and recruiting strategy through data modeling and reporting

  • Partner with HRIS and IT teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and alignment with governance standards

  • Create documentation and user guides for dashboards and reporting tools

  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting automation and efficiency

  • Support leadership presentations with analytics and visual storytelling

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in a quantitative or business discipline such as:

    • Business Analytics

    • Data Analytics

    • Information Systems

    • Industrial-Organizational Psychology

    • Human Resources Analytics

    • Data Science

    • MBA with analytics or HR concentration

    • Or a related field with a strong analytical component

  • Experience with Excel and/or Power BI

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders

  • Attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data transformation, Power Query)

  • Experience with Power BI data modeling or visualization tools

  • Familiarity with HR, recruiting, or workforce data concepts

  • Experience working with structured datasets from enterprise systems

  • Coursework in statistics, data analytics, or business intelligence
