Description of Work
DNCR Human Resources is seeking a well-rounded Talent Acquisition and Compensation Coordinator to join our team! The Talent Acquisition and Compensation Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting agency-wide recruitment, salary administration, and temporary personnel management functions. This position assists with recruitment and outreach efforts by representing the agency at job fairs, community events, and schools while building partnerships that strengthen talent pipelines across arts, history, and cultural programs. This position serves as the designated recruitment and salary administration point of contact for divisions during vacancies, leave coverage, or the launch of new federally or state-funded programs. In this capacity, the position manages end-to-end hiring processes, prepares salary administration packets, and supports mass salary administration requests. Additional duties may be assigned to support the Deputy HR Director of Total Rewards and Analytics and the Recruitment Manager.Key Responsibilities
• Serves as the recruitment and salary administration point of contact when a division vacancy exists, primary recruiter/salary administrator is unavailable due to an LOA.
• Collaborates with the recruitment manager to expand agency wide recruitment efforts, including identifying new outreach opportunities, strengthening partnerships, and supporting strategies to increase applicant engagement.
• Assists divisions with mass salary administration requests.
• Assist the Recruitment Manager in representing the agency at job fairs, community partner events, colleges/universities, other external engagement opportunities.
• Confirms recruitment decisions align with approved salary actions.
• Reviews hiring salary actions for meet salary administration guidelines/standards.
• Conducts periodic audits of recruitment/salary actions for consistency and compliance and provides feedback and training recommendations based on quality assurance findings.
• Assists Deputy HR Director of Total Rewards and Analytics and the Recruitment Manager with data reporting and research.

Recruitment Range: $43,267-$56,880

Demonstrated knowledge of the OSC Integrated HR-Payroll System and/or Workday.
Demonstrated experience in data reporting and/or research.
Demonstrated knowledge of salary administration and the state’s practices, polices, and/or procedures.
Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment and/or selection programs and/or policies.
Position/Physical Requirements
Typical work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8-5, with flexibility.
Two days onsite.
Three days telework.

Division Description
The Human Resources Office (HR) provides comprehensive human resources and safety services to all divisions throughout the agency. Current staffing is over 2,200 positions, plus seasonal/supplemental staffing. The core services include policy administration, employee relations, staff development, benefits, classification and compensation, recruitment and retention, salary administration, diversity and inclusion, performance management, safety and wellness. The HR office supports the mission of the agency by providing policy interpretation, processes, and staff development opportunities in all aspects of HR. The HR office strives to create efficient processes and services that utilize technology to enhance the processes and benefits available to employees as well as expand staff development.

Veteran’s and National Guard Preference

Sign On Bonus Eligibility

Employee eligible for a sign-on must work at least 20 hours per week.
