Position Title: Talent Acquisition Coordinator 
Division: Human Resources
Reports To: Talent Acquisition Supervisor
Location: Lee’s Summit, MO
Travel: Up to 25%
Hourly Rate: $24.50/hr. -$26.50/hr.

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the organization’s staffing needs. This role manages the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, and supporting hiring managers in selecting qualified candidates. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator also helps improve recruitment strategies, employer branding, and candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Sourcing
• Manage full-cycle recruiting for open positions across the organization
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates
• Post job openings on job boards, career sites, and social media platforms
• Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines
• Proactively source candidates through networking, databases, and recruiting platforms

Candidate Screening & Selection
• Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates
• Conduct phone, virtual, or in-person interviews
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
• Evaluate candidates’ qualifications, experience, and cultural fit
• Assist hiring managers with selection decisions

Hiring Process Management
• Facilitate the offer process including salary negotiation and offer letters
• Conduct background checks and pre-employment screening
• Ensure a smooth onboarding transition for new hires

Employer Branding
• Promote the organization’s employer brand through recruitment marketing
• Participate in career fairs, networking events, and campus recruiting
• Maintain positive relationships with candidates and external partners

Qualification:
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
(preferred)

Experience
• 0–3 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting tools

Skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to evaluate candidate qualifications and cultural fit
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Knowledge of employment laws and hiring practices
• Ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in corporate recruiting or agency recruiting
• Experience with recruitment analytics and employer branding initiatives
