Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Intern to support our recruitment efforts. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of talent acquisition, working alongside experienced recruiters. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in human resources and talent acquisition, possess excellent follow-up skills, and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft products, especially Excel. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a willingness to ask questions, and a commitment to providing exceptional support throughout the recruitment process.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with sourcing candidates through various channels, including job boards and social media.
- Screen resumes and applications, identifying qualified candidates for open positions.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for both candidates and hiring managers.
- Support the recruitment team with administrative tasks, such as data entry and maintaining applicant tracking systems.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to track and analyze recruitment metrics, generating reports as needed.
- Communicate with candidates, providing updates on their application status and answering inquiries.
- Contribute to the development of job descriptions and other recruitment materials, using good writing skills.
- Participate in recruitment events and career fairs, representing the company and attracting potential candidates.
- Demonstrate attention to detail in all aspects of the recruitment process, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements.
Required Education and Experience
- In pursuit of a bachelor’s degree degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
- 3.0 GPA or higher.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Junior and graduate-level students preferred (graduating between December 2026 and May 2027).
- Previous internship experience in a human resources or talent acquisition environment.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Experience with scheduling, coordination, or customer-facing roles.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Able to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Understanding of customer service.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite - PowerPoint, Microsoft Office, Excel.
