SUMMARY

The Talent Acquisition Intern supports the YMCA of Honolulu’s mission to strengthen the community by assisting with recruitment and hiring operations. This internship provides hands-on experience in human resources and talent acquisition, offering exposure to applicant tracking systems, interview coordination, onboarding processes, and compliance practices.

The intern will work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to help create a seamless, welcoming, and mission-aligned hiring experience for candidates. This is an excellent opportunity for students seeking practical experience in nonprofit human resources.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Interest in non-profit HR.
  • Ability to commit 20 hours a week.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
