What You Will Do

  • Perform accurate data entry and record maintenance for campus recruiting activities (e.g., candidate status updates, event rosters, tracking sheets).
  • Learn and support basic ATS workflows (posting support, candidate movement, audits/quality checks, and reporting support as assigned).
  • Create and update PowerPoint presentations and other recruiting materials for events, information sessions, and internal updates.
  • Assist with planning and execution support for the 2026 intern cohort (communications, scheduling support, meeting/event coordination, and tracking action items).
  • Manage and update employee distribution lists and shared contact lists to support recruiting communications.
  • Provide administrative support to the Campus Recruitment team, including inbox support, meeting notes, and coordination of job-shadowing opportunities.
  • Partners with internal stakeholders in a professional and timely manner, representing the campus recruiting function positively.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program, with interest in Human Resources, Recruiting, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and mindfulness; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Comfortable working with confidential information and following data/privacy guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship, campus organization, or administrative experience (HR/recruiting exposure is a plus).
  • Having experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or CRM tools is advantageous, but training will be provided.
  • Basic Excel skills (sorting/filtering, simple formulas) and comfort working with data.

Internship Details

  • Duration: Approximately 3 months (May – August 2026)
  • Hours: Approximately 37.5 hours/ week
  • Work arrangement: Candidates hired into this role will be required to work in-person in the Milliman office in Milwaukee, WI on a weekly basis, but flexible work arrangements will be considered. The expected application deadline for this job is April 20, 2026

Compensation

The hourly wage for this role is $19.00 - $35.00. A combination of factors will be considered to determine the compensation for this role, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc. This is a non-exempt overtime eligible role; overtime eligible after 40 hours of work (For non-exempt, hourly roles).
