Description:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for assisting the facilities, corporate directors, and consultants with recruitment. This position will assist in monitoring all employment related activity to ensure that all practices are non-discriminatory. This position is responsible for the pre-screening process of applicants and for full-cycle recruitment for specific positions located within their region. This position will attend career fairs and promote Monarch Healthcare Management. 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES 

Manage and Coordinate Full-Cycle Recruiting 

  • Meet with facility Human Resource Directors within your region weekly to determine facility staffing needs. 

  • Regularly visit assigned Monarch facilities within assigned region to assess needs and get to know each facility’s culture and structure. 

  • Develop relationships and maintain ongoing contact with assigned facilities Human Resource Directors and Administrators.  

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of current job descriptions and qualifications for specific positions.  

  • Post jobs for assigned facility. 

  • Assist facilities with all department level hiring from pre-screening through time of hire. 

  • Conduct phone interviews, references, in-person interviews, and present job offers to candidates.  • Follow-up with new hires to ensure everything is going okay.  

  • Assure that Applicant Tracking System documentation is complete and appropriate. 

  • Assist with Assuring Hiring Practices are in compliance with EEOC, Affirmative Action and ADAAA requirements.  

  • Contact applicants who have been deemed unsuitable to inform them of the status of their application.  

  • Create partnerships with local colleges and organizations. 

Represent Monarch Healthcare Management at Events 

  • Gather/create promotional materials to be used at recruitment events and display the table in a welcoming manner. 

  • Maintain knowledge about Monarch Healthcare Management and its facilities, promote facilities equally and recruit qualified candidates to open positions. 

  • Submit resumes and information cards to the Recruitment and Hiring Coordinator to be followed up with.

Promotes and Establishes Healthy Relationships and Uses Professional Conduct with Other Healthcare Professionals, Residents, Families, Visitors, Supervisors, and Co-workers

  • Arrives at work on time and ready to begin work. Is able to prioritize and be organized and efficient when interacting and communicating. 

  • Follows policy on absenteeism, tardiness, and call-ins as outlined in Personnel Policy Manual.

  • Is courteous and cooperative with residents, families, visitors, supervisors, and co-workers.

  • Follows dress code, and limits personal phone calls. 

  • Abides by and promotes the Continuous Quality Improvement Program of Monarch Healthcare Management. 

  • Promotes a positive and professional image in the office and the community.

QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Education and Experience 

  • Degree in Human Resources 

Skills and Abilities 

  • Motivated and persistent. 

  • Relationship-building skills. 

  • Ability to multitask.  

  • Basic computer competencies. 

  • Able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Must qualify for employment, after criminal background check, per guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
