About this role

Overview:

Execute recruitment and staffing strategies for assigned departments and/or campuses with special emphasis on well qualified and diverse pool of candidates, timeliness, and cost effectiveness. Meet or exceed weekly productivity goals for filling of requisitions. This is an entry level recruiting position that requires involvement in all aspects of the Talent Acquisition lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on candidate sourcing.

 

Pay Range: $50,000 - $ 60,000

Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identify quality candidates using a variety of sourcing strategies including referrals, Company website, networking, internet, cold-calling, and print advertising
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team members to ensure timely closure of assigned requisitions (by campus or department)
  • Qualify and prescreen candidates based on job descriptions and qualifications
  • Process hiring documentation timely and accurate use of applicant tracking system.
  • Generate, track, and manage reports related to assigned open positions
  • Provide timely and thorough updates to hiring manager
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews and test teachers based on hiring manager and applicant availability
  • Complete required pre-employment processes i.e., reference checks, background, and credit checks prior to offer
  • Make offers to applicants and negotiate salary requests
  • Assist with on-boarding procedures as needed
  • Promote the Company, as assigned, at a variety of recruitment functions such as job fairs, career events, and/or association meetings targeted for special populations
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Education / Experience 

•  HS Diploma or GED (required) and two (2) years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or HR support roles -or- 
•  Associates Degree (preferred) 
•  Experience coordinating hiring activities across the hiring process 
•  Knowledge base should include effectively supporting a Talent Acquisition team 
•  Demonstrated experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms
•  Experience in high volume or specialized recruiting environments (preferred)
•  High level of effective communication and organization skills (required)

Work Environment 

  • Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment when on site at assigned company location. Employees must be able to safely ambulate when on company premises.
  • This position is designated as Remote. Employees must meet minimum technical standards for eligibility and participation.
  • No travel required
