General Description:

Shipping Coordinator functions include but are not limited to:

· Scheduling Controller (Trucking companies)

· Must be able to communicate directly to corporate personal, upper management, and security personal

· Input Data in SAP System

· Organizational skills are a must

· Filing, answer phones, and other clerical duties as required per Shipping Supervisor

· Similar Industry experience preferred

· Assist truck drivers with any questions they may have

· All other General Shipping Coordinator Functions

Working Conditions:

· Office Setting

· Employee will work 40 hours per week M-F with Saturday work if necessary. Overtime pay available

Required skills:

· Knowledgeable in SAP, Microsoft Applications-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook, but not limited to

· Loading Controller knowledge

· Must have good interpersonal skills

· People skills & Listening skills

· Flexibility a plus

· Be able to speak, write, and read English

Education Requirements (if applicable):

· Minimum High School diploma or GED equivalent.
