Tax Analyst

Delaware North is hiring a Tax Accountant to join our team in Buffalo, New York. As a member of the tax team, you will be responsible for monthly tax compliance, participate in the monthly accounting close process and collaborate on annual compliance. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with outside advisers to file monthly sales and property tax returns
• Contribute to the preparation of direct and indirect tax filings
• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
• Perform tax research for state tax queries, such as nexus
• Assist in the preparation of tax provisions and documentation to support audit readiness
• Support all tax ad-hoc requests as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; tax specialization is highly preferred
• Strong organization, effective time management, and prioritization skills in managing multiple projects
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate successfully with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, tax research, and general ERP experience 
• Must be able to work in the US on a permanent basis, without sponsorship
