Provide high quality Special Instruction Services in accordance with children's IFSPs
Performs evaluations and ongoing assessments and tracks child progress.
Provides parent coaching and teaches strategies that promote skill development during daily routines.
Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies to improve social interaction, communication, play skills, and adaptive skills.
Participate in IFSP meetings, team meetings, and case conferences.
Must have one of the following teaching certifications:
Teacher of the Deaf and Hearing Impaired
Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH)
Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD)
Certification or eligibility to provide Special Instruction through the New York State Early Intervention Program.
