Position Summary:
The TDR Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the Team Member dining room and properly stocking all necessary items for service. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. This position will report directly to the TDR Sous Chef.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting North Fork Mono Casino's culture and always demonstrating exemplary Service Standards.
- Clean each table, booth, and chair by wiping them with a clean, damp cloth with a sanitizing solution.
- Sweep or vacuum under each table and booth.
- Maintain the supply of paper products and condiments.
- Prepare both regular and decaf coffee.
- Inform immediate supervisor of any product shortages and equipment needs.
- Behave in a positive, professional manner that reflects North Fork Mono Casino's practices.
- Practice and observe safety rules and regulations and encourage others to do so, as well as comply with Board of Health Services regulations.
- Know where the SDS booklet is located.
- Display knowledge of all emergency procedures.
- Inform immediate supervisor if situations arise with fellow workers that cannot be handled directly.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in both written and verbal form.
- Must be able to manage time effectively with minimum supervision.
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and mature decision‐making.
- Ability to adhere to all company and department policies and procedures and Guest Service standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior experience in food and beverage within a restaurant (full service or limited service) required.
- Current Food Handler certification required or ability to acquire one (employer will provide upon hire).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Commission, which includes passing a background investigation.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Physical Requirements:
- All work is performed on site in Madera, CA.
- Requires manual dexterity to perform job related functions.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time or the duration of their shift.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. with or without assistance.
- Ability to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, graveyard and holidays.
Work Conditions:
Team Members will be in constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests. Work includes the maintenance and care of the assigned work area. Work is typically in an area which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain secondhand smoke. Work may be performed in a confined area. Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and grasping. Work may be scheduled at various hours, including working overtime, and during evening, weekends, and holidays. Work may entail trained chemical usage.
