In this role, you’ll play an important part in supporting underwriting operations—helping deliver data-driven insights that strengthen decision-making and ensure accurate, timely renewals for our clients. We’re looking for a detail‑oriented Technical Analyst to join our growing Employee Benefits Underwriting team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, building spreadsheets, and supporting internal teams with accurate, well‑organized reporting. In this role, you’ll help prepare experience reports, support renewal activities, and assist with marketing materials for employee benefits clients. You’ll work closely with analysts, underwriters, and consultants while learning the fundamentals of healthcare financial analysis in a supportive, team‑oriented environment. How you'll make an impact Prepare initial calculations and spreadsheets used in renewal packages Review monthly loss ratio and utilization reports for accuracy and consistency Assist with experience reporting, benchmarking, and data gathering Support the marketing process by helping assemble carrier materials and data packets Maintain and update internal renewal systems to ensure clean, accurate data Provide routine reporting support to internal teams and select public sector clients Help streamline report templates and contribute ideas for improving data processes Collaborate with internal partners to schedule reports and respond to ad‑hoc data requests Participate in special projects as the department continues to grow About You Required: Bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office. Preferred: Carrier experience highly preferred. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
