About this role

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience with Operational Readiness Reviews (ORR).
  • Experience with enterprise network infrastructure, such as routing or switching protocols (BGP, OSPF), SD-WAN, spine-leaf architectures, wireless networking, or network security.

Preferred qualifications:

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or CSM Certification.
  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) or service transitions within a large-scale operations infrastructure.
  • Experience with network monitoring, telemetry, and logging frameworks to ensure Day-2 supportability.
  • Experience using Agile, Scrum, or Kanban frameworks adapted for infrastructure or hardware life-cycles.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the Operational Readiness Review (ORR) framework. Serve as the ultimate gatekeeper ensuring new network technologies meet strict operational criteria before deployment.
  • Partner with Network Architecture, Engineering, Product, and Security teams during the early design phases to advocate for operational observability, supportability, and maintainability.
  • Ensure the creation of comprehensive engineering documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), troubleshooting runbooks, high/low-level designs (HLD/LLD), and failover validation playbooks.
  • Conduct rigorous risk assessments for new deployments, defining clear rollback strategies, blast-radius limitations, and monitoring requirements to protect network availability.
  • Define and track metrics quantifying operational readiness success (e.g., Time-to-Ready, Day-2 support ticket volume post-launch, deployment success rates).
