Position Summary

We are seeking a Temporary Health Center Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy health center. Reporting to the Director of Health Center Operations, this role is responsible for supporting staff, monitoring operational performance, managing workflows, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive patient and employee experience.

 

This is a temporary assignment onsite in our Boston health center lasting approximately one month.



Based on a 37.5 hour work week.


Your Day to Day:
  • Manage day-to-day health center operations and staff support.
  • Monitor productivity, patient volume, and operational metrics.
  • Supervise non-licensed team leads and support employee development.
  • Partner with leadership on budgeting, staffing, quality improvement, and compliance initiatives.
  • Oversee scheduling templates, inventory, facilities coordination, and cash management processes.
  • Address patient concerns and support risk management activities.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, Facilities, and other departments to support health center operations.


  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Healthcare operations experience preferred.
  • 3–7 years of supervisory or staff management experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual candidates (Spanish, Mandarin, Haitian Creole, Vietnamese, or Portuguese) are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Willingness to travel to other sites and work occasional evenings or Saturdays.
