Job Summary

Develop CNC programs using released engineering drawings. Revise programs after new revision releases. Create Programs for soft tooling. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing staff.

Job Duties & Essential Functions

• Accurately read and interpret engineering drawings
• Read, understand CNC G-code
• Select appropriate cutting tools for optimum accuracy and efficiency of part requirement
• Generate the  G-code using Master-Cam software. 
• Optimally use operation toolpaths and cutting tools. Use problem solving skills to solve programming issues.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under rush delivery situations

General Qualifications

Education:

• A High School Diploma is desired.
• Trade or Technical School is desired.

Experience:

• 0-3 years’ experience using CAM software

Skills:

• Understand engineering drawings
• Basic computer skills
• Can use CAM software
• Work well with others
• Good Communication Skills
• Knowledgeable on cutting tools
• Proficient in Mastercam preferred
• Proficient in CATIA preferred
• Experience with PLM software preferred
