Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, or 5 years with advanced degree.
  • Experience in the consumer electronics, auto, OEMs, telecom, e-commerce/retail, apps, ads, gaming, or technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across multiple levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in a related field.
  • Extensive experience leading complex, cross-functional partnership initiatives with a significant impact on business outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of the [relevant industry/vertical/market] landscape, including emerging trends and competitive dynamics.
  • Proven ability to identify, evaluate, and prioritize strategic partnership opportunities that align with business objectives.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with a track record of securing favorable terms and building consensus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to and influencing senior executives.

Within Global Partnerships, the Top Partner team is comprised of Top Partner Managers – deep industry experts who engage with external partners and internal business development and Product teams to: Incubate transformative/innovative ideas, understanding both partners’ and Google’s strategic priorities, and rallying cross-functional teams towards new opportunities and cross-PA agreements. Accelerate agreements and lead strategic initiatives, including industry strategy alignment, AI Innovation Labs, and key industry initiatives/programs. Horizon scan to identify new growth opportunities across Google at the vertical, partner, and agreement levels

Within the Top Partners team, the Ecosystems Team exists to create a sustainable environment for Google’s growth by harnessing various partner value streams across areas of strategic investment. We achieve this by leading unified commercial strategies and industry engagement for Systems Integrators, Consultancies, and Large Brands, while simultaneously cultivating a network of educated industry allies to support Google’s policy and regulatory goals.

We are looking for a highly collaborative individual with a proven track record leading executive-level partnerships strategy, working cross-functionally to lead change and driving impact with the partners and within Google.

In this role, you will have experience in business development and partnerships, with the ability to identify long-term growth opportunities, and influence a cross-functional team to deliver against their goal. You will be an excellent communicator, comfortable presenting to partner CxOs, and Google senior leaders.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $140000 - $203000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-Google partnerships and agreement pursuits across the Ecosystems team, including developing/managing relationships with key stakeholders internally and with partners (up to the CEO).
  • Develop a clear strategy to align Google against the partners’ most pressing strategic objectives and to drive commercial growth and product priorities for Google.
  • Lead cross-product area executive engagement, including preparing briefings for senior Google executives, setting clear objectives, and ensuring alignment and activation across Google.
  • Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise to grow Google’s business across Ecosystems, including developing POVs and cross-product area playbooks on critical topics (i.e. GenAI, Agentic Commerce) and advising senior leaders.
  • Own cross-Google operations for your book of business, including OKR reporting, briefing documents, leadership updates, etc.
