Job Summary:
Performs general routine maintenance and servicing operations throughout the hospital complex and other areas as directed. Response to emergencies and routine calls in a timely manner. Works under the supervision of the Assistant Maintenance Manager. Employee must have basic knowledge in the use of hand and electrical tools. Employee must attend a credited trade school in order to advance to the position of maintenance mechanic or higher. Follows the Facilities Department and EHMC policies. Communicates with administration, directors, staff, patients and visitors.

Job Essentials:

• Requires a minimum of 3 months exposure to trades
• Must have strong interest in pursuing certification in one or more of the construction trades
