TE3 – Construction

• Oversee and administer multiple construction projects of varying complexity.
• Work closely with Design and Maintenance Departments to address issues and future project considerations.
• Perform constructability plan reviews.
• Process change orders and estimates.
• Utilize multiple computer software programs such as GoForms, Mobile Inspector, AASHTOWare Project (AWP), etc. to manage construction projects.
• Manage in-house and consultant inspection staff.
• Act as a mentor for upcoming project engineers and interns.

Who we are looking for: The District 12 Capital Programs Department is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio who is passionate about public service, conscientious, self-directed, adaptable problem solver, and takes initiative to manage issues independently.  The candidate should have a good understanding of engineering principles, design standards, and the ODOT Construction and Materials Specifications.  The candidates should also have proficiency in reading and interpreting plans and contract documents.
