What You Will Do: The ODOT District 12 Capital Programs Department, which includes the Planning, Design, and Construction sections, has a position vacancy that requires the expertise of a professional engineer. TE3 – Construction
- Oversee and administer multiple construction projects of varying complexity.
- Work closely with Design and Maintenance Departments to address issues and future project considerations.
- Perform constructability plan reviews.
- Process change orders and estimates.
- Utilize multiple computer software programs such as GoForms, Mobile Inspector, AASHTOWare Project (AWP), etc. to manage construction projects.
- Manage in-house and consultant inspection staff.
- Act as a mentor for upcoming project engineers and interns.

The candidate should have a good understanding of engineering principles, design standards, and the ODOT Construction and Materials Specifications. The candidates should also have proficiency in reading and interpreting plans and contract documents.
