General Summary:
The Treasury- Collections & Receivables department is looking for a PL Customer Care Associate I, offers essential support to customers and internal personnel. This position is responsible for resolving billing, invoice and payment-related inquiries with a high degree of professionalism and accuracy. The associate uses various resources to process account transactions, investigate and apply account adjustments. Associate will also handle commercial lines accounts as needed.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:45am – 5:00pm
Once fully trained, work from home flexibility is available.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Essential functions of this job are listed below in order of priority. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential duties. Regular and predictable onsite attendance is an essential function of the job.
Assist Personal Lines customers and internal staff with billing and payment inquiries.
Reviews reports and customer inquiries; make account adjustments and coordinate with commercial lines underwriting and sales teams.
Analyze and validate credit statuses on accounts.
Process returned and incoming payments on delinquent policies, issues related transactions and correspondence.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
High-level relationship management skills
Strong multitasking and decision-making abilities
Entry Level
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree or higher in business, or related field
2+ years of relevant experience in a customer service
Experience working with cross-functional teams or handling escalated issues
Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience and credentials.
Pay Range: $42,577-$49,488Eligible full-time employees receive a competitive Total Rewards package, including but not limited to a 401(k) with employer match up to 8% and additional service-based contributions, Health, Dental, and Vision insurance, Life and Disability coverage, generous PTO, Paid Sick Leave, and paid parental leave in addition to state-mandated leave.
