Experience & Key Responsibilities:
- Present and clearly explain treatment plans, procedures, and recommendations to patients and families
- Coordinate with doctors and clinical staff to ensure treatment plans are scheduled and completed efficiently
- Discuss financial arrangements, insurance estimates, and payment options in a clear and compassionate manner
- Manage patient scheduling to support optimal clinical flow and treatment acceptance
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatment plans, patient communications, and case progression
- With the support of the administrative team and Practice Managers, assist to ensure the smooth and successful appointments of all new patients.
- To be responsible for contracts signed by responsible party prior to or on banding day.
- To be responsible in assisting to produce performance and quality standards within the Treatment Coordinator room, delivered through customer service skills and attention to detail.
- To be responsible for the maintaining all treatment coordinator records and reports, and communicating them to the Practice Manager.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office preferred (pediatric experience a plus)
- Strong understanding of dental procedures, insurance, and treatment coordination
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with practice management software and basic computer skills
