Compensation: $52, 649.20— $59,754.24
*Final compensation is determined by factors such as education, licensure level, experience and other qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop recruitment and retention plans for targeted demographics for the purpose of recruiting and retaining potential foster parents;
- Identify and meet quarterly and annual targeted recruitment goals through individual and group recruitment activities;
- Create high quality and compelling marketing materials, such as flyers, to inform and educate prospective families about the resources we provide;
- Identify, maintain, and develop relationships with individuals, families, and community groups or entities to ensure visibility of our foster care program;
- Create and plan educational presentations and information sessions with individuals, families, community groups, and businesses to promote our foster care program;
- Track all recruitment activities to include contacts, visits, presentations, and community events and the results of recruitment;
- Facilitating referrals for foster parent inquiries;
- Attend local events to promote and educate the community about our foster care program and resources;
- Must regularly and effectively interact and communicate with a broad range of people both in individual and group settings;
- Initiative, persistence, and perseverance are required in recruitment activities;
- Utilize social media as an outlet for marketing and recruitment of foster families;
- Ensures all required documentation is completed correctly and timely as required by NCG, DMAS and the Virginia Department of Social Service Standards for Licensed Child Placing Agencies;
- Assures initial contact with referring individual/family within 72 hours of inquiry;
- Collaborates and coordinates with other members of the local TFC program in developing and implementing strategies for the recruitment and retention of foster parents
