About this role
This is a hybrid position. Candidates are expected in-office 2 days/Week
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and analyze accounts in order to recommend coverage, policy terms, and conditions to obtain and renew quality, profitable business.
- Effectively communicate proposed pricing, coverages, and rating plans to brokers.
- Develop efficient programs, procedures, exhibits, and controls to achieve marketing and product line objectives.
- Effectively interact with marketing, loss prevention, and other internal units to deliver top-level customer service.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products and services, the North American marketplace, desired customers (Fortune 500 companies), and competitor landscape.
- Monitor industry trends, developments, and regulatory changes to ensure continued delivery of superior insurance coverage to the target market.
- Performs related duties and special projects to support the success of the product line unit.
- Communicate in Spanish and English.
- 1 - 2 years underwriting commercial insurance experience.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
