About this role
Support the GPS practice as a subject matter expert providing policy analysis, guidance, and oversight for OCS, VTM, and/or PSC programs. In this role, you will assess operational, contractual, and program activities, develop recommendations, and support decision-making tied to policy, regulation, governance, and joint capability integration. You will help strengthen program execution through research, analysis, policy development, and coordination across stakeholders supporting mission delivery.

As a Senior Consultant of Strategy & Growth on the Government & Public Services defense policy and mission capability team, you will be responsible for…
- Analyzing operational, contractual, and programmatic activities to support policy development, resource allocation, and leadership decision-making
- Supporting the development, review, and improvement of policy, regulation, governance, and execution guidance for OCS, VTM, and/or PSC programs
- Conducting research, assessments, and data analysis to evaluate program effectiveness, identify gaps, and support compliance with policy and governance standards
- Drafting policy documents, briefings, talking points, and other decision-support materials for senior leadership and interagency stakeholders
- Coordinating across organizations to support capability development, governance activities, and enterprise-wide performance monitoring tied to OCS, VTM, and/or PSC implementation

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of experience, or master's degree plus 3+ years of experience
- Top Secret clearance
- Ability to work on-site in Alexandria up to 5 days a week
- 3+ years of experience in defense acquisition processes, industrial base, counter-threat, vetting, private security contracting, OCS, VTM, and/or PSC
- 3+ years of experience researching, evaluating, interpreting, and translating operational and policy data into talking points and briefings for senior leadership
- Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
- Experience drafting materials for briefing senior leadership, organizational stakeholders, or key leader engagements
- Experience supporting VTM, OCS, and/or PSC programs
- Experience writing policy documents or guidance within federal or DoW regulatory frameworks
- Experience performing data analysis or governance support in a defense or logistics environment
