What you'll do...

Role summary:
We are seeking a strategic storyteller and marketing leader to join Walmart Connect as a Vertical Marketing Manager. You will develop category-specific strategies that turn insights into compelling narratives and go-to market materials.  Acting as a critical link between data, storytelling, and sales enablement, you will create impactful resources across key verticals and audiences. You’ll collaborate across Sales, Insights, Product, Marketing, and Creative teams to create high-impact materials that empower our sales organization and inspire advertisers. This role supports the Food and Beverage category and reports to the Senior Manager, Vertical Marketing within Walmart Connect Ads Integrated Marketing.
About the team:
As part of the Walmart U.S. Growth organization, Walmart Connect enables advertisers to tell their stories through retail media, in-store experiences, and digital touchpoints across our ecosystem. The Walmart Connect Vertical Marketing team sits within Ads Integrated Marketing whose mission is to transform insights into impact by crafting powerful narratives — to establishing a clear, credible, and scalable market presence. We’re looking for bold thinkers and strategic storytellers who want to redefine the future of retail media — transforming insights into impactful narratives that position Walmart Connect as a top-tier advertising partner. 
What you'll do:

• Develop category-specific narratives that bring Walmart Connect’s value proposition to life.
• Translate data, insights, and market trends into actionable stories for Sales and clients.
• Create sales enablement materials, including decks, case studies, and insight-driven toolkits.
• Partner across Sales, Insights, Content Strategy, Events, Brand Marketing, Design, and Creative Studio.
• Support thought leadership and enterprise storytelling that strengthen Walmart Connect’s market position.

• Strong strategic storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex data into clear narratives.
• Experience developing marketing strategies, sales materials, or thought leadership for category or industry audiences.
• Collaborative mindset and comfort working with cross-functional partners.
• Ability to identify insights, trends, and opportunities that inform business growth.
• A creative, detail-oriented approach to building compelling, visually cohesive marketing assets.

The annual salary range for this position is $96,000.00 - $186,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
