Position Summary:

The Valet Attendant is responsible for providing prompt, courteous, and efficient valet services to guests arriving at and departing from the casino. This role includes safely parking and retrieving guest vehicles, assisting with luggage, and ensuring a positive first and last impression of the property. The valet attendant must maintain a professional appearance and attitude while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. This position will directly report to the Valet Supervisor.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting North Fork Mono Casino's culture and always demonstrating exemplary Service Standards.
  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure with a professional and friendly demeanor
  • Manage the handheld device used with our Valet Electronic System.
  • Record any damage that exists on the guest's automobile prior to accepting and parking the vehicle.
  • Properly and accurately park the guests' vehicles in the correct parking lot spaces.
  • Responsible for locking guests' vehicles and correctly securing the keys.
  • Responsible for keeping the driveway clear of any cars that need to be parked.
  • Responsible for returning the car to the guest in a prompt manner and in the same condition it was in when the guest left it.
  • Transport guests in company vehicles as assigned.
  • Report any incidents, damage, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor immediately
  • Ensure a safe and clean working environment.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
  • Must be able to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
  • Must have neat and legible handwriting.
  • Ability to operate company vehicles and transport guests in a safe manner.
  • Excellent guest service skills.
  • Must be flexible, motivated, and a team player with energy.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous valet/transportation experience preferred.
  • California Driver's License with a clean driving record required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Commission, which includes passing a background investigation.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Physical Requirements:

  • All work is performed on site in Madera, CA.
  • Ability to do extensive jogging, walking, standing, bending and lifting.
  • Requires manual dexterity to perform job related functions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.

Work Conditions:

Team Members will be in constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests. Work includes the maintenance and care of the assigned work area. Work is typically in an area which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain secondhand smoke. Work may be performed in a confined area. Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping. Work may be scheduled at various hours, including working overtime, and during evening, weekends, and holidays. Work may entail trained chemical usage. Work is performed outdoors and can involve continuous exposure to high and low temperatures, sunlight, wet surfaces and noise.
