Able to routinely work in the animal facility without direct supervision.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EProvide pre- and post-operative animal monitoring.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EMaintain animal health and study related records as required by the IACUC and ARC policy.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAble to perform routine diagnostic testing utilizing common laboratory equipment. Examples would include internal and external parasite examinations, PCV and total protein and urinalysis.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EWork comfortably in a microbiological barrier facility as well as ABSL-2 and ABSL-3 containment areas.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EObtain routine blood collections from research animals. Perform antigen injections and sample collections for antibody production in research animals.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EMaintain appropriate medical records as required.
