About this role

The Program in Data Science and Statistics in the School of Arts & Sciences at the University of Richmond invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor in Data Science to begin on August 18, 2026.

We seek a teacher-scholar who shares our commitment to highly effective teaching at all levels of the curriculum. The successful candidate will teach 3 courses in the fall and 3 courses in the spring semester, which may include but are not limited to Probability and Introduction to Data Science.

A Ph.D. is required by the time of appointment. We welcome applications from any disciplinary background.
