As a Wardrobe Attendant, you’ll be the go-to person for uniforms—providing friendly service, staying organized behind the scenes, and making sure every team member is ready to shine.
The Wardrobe Attendant plays a key role in delivering exceptional service to team members by managing the distribution, collection, and maintenance of uniforms. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with others.
In this role, you will be responsible for issuing uniforms, tracking inventory, and maintaining accurate records within the wardrobe system. You’ll assist new hires, process uniform returns for departing employees, and ensure all wardrobe operations run efficiently. Sewing and minor tailoring tasks are essential, making prior experience in these areas highly valuable.
Success in this position requires strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to upholding company standards. The Wardrobe Attendant serves as a role model for professionalism and teamwork, contributing to a positive workplace culture while ensuring all team members are supported and presentation-ready.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional service while greeting and assisting team members
- Distribute and collect uniforms accurately and efficiently
- Process new hires and handle uniform returns for terminated team members
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and enter data into the wardrobe system
- Operate wardrobe software and keep records up to date
- Perform sewing and minor tailoring tasks as needed
- Organize, store, and manage uniforms to ensure easy access and proper care
- Lift, carry, hang, and transport uniforms and racks as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
- Manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
Qualifications
- Previous sewing experience required, tailoring experience preferred
Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
Must be computer literate and able to learn Wardrobe Software system
Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
