What you'll do:

The Warehouse Associate – Housekeeping is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, safe, and efficient warehouse and production environment while supporting daily warehouse operations. This role assists with stocking materials, organizing inventory, maintaining storage areas, and performing routine housekeeping activities that promote operational efficiency and workplace safety. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, physically active, and committed to maintaining a clean and professional work environment.

 

Warehouse Housekeeping

  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse, production, storage, and common work areas
  • Sweep, clean, organize, and remove debris from warehouse aisles, staging areas, loading zones, and workstations
  • Dispose of trash, scrap materials, pallets, packaging, and other waste in accordance with company procedures
  • Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the facility to support a safe and productive work environment
  • Identify and report housekeeping or safety concerns that require corrective action

Inventory Organization & Stocking

  • Stock warehouse materials and replenish inventory in designated storage locations
  • Organize inventory, shelving, storage racks, and warehouse locations for efficient material retrieval
  • Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing incoming materials
  • Rotate materials and maintain organized inventory locations
  • Assist with inventory counts and material organization initiatives

Warehouse Operations Support

  • Assist warehouse personnel with material movement and general warehouse activities
  • Help stage materials and prepare work areas to support daily operational needs
  • Operate pallet jacks, carts, and other material handling equipment as authorized
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials when needed
  • Support warehouse workflow by maintaining organized work areas throughout the shift

Equipment & Facility Care

  • Perform routine cleaning of warehouse equipment and designated work areas
  • Maintain warehouse fixtures, shelving, and storage locations in clean operating condition
  • Report damaged equipment, facility concerns, or maintenance issues promptly
  • Support preventative housekeeping activities that protect company assets and equipment

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and PPE requirements
  • Promote a safety-first culture by identifying and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions
  • Keep walkways, emergency exits, loading areas, and storage locations free of obstructions
  • Maintain safe lifting practices while handling materials
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

What you'll bring:

  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous warehouse, housekeeping, custodial, manufacturing, or distribution experience preferred
  • Experience stocking inventory and organizing warehouse materials
  • Familiarity with building materials or warehouse environments is a plus
  • Experience operating pallet jacks or material handling equipment is preferred
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification is a plus
  • Work is performed primarily in warehouse, manufacturing, storage, and outdoor yard environments
  • Frequent exposure to varying temperatures, dust, noise, warehouse equipment, and changing weather conditions
  • Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to bend, kneel, squat, reach, climb, and perform repetitive physical tasks
  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, and move materials weighing approximately 20–50 pounds using safe lifting techniques
  • May require occasional overtime or weekend work based on operational needs
