About this role
Darigold is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator at our Sunnyside, WA location. The Warehouse Coordinator supports safe, accurate, and timely warehouse operations by coordinating daily transportation scheduling, OTM load activity, documentation, inventory follow-up, RMA support, and sample order requests. This role helps maintain organized shipping execution and communication between warehouse, production, carriers, customer service, and corporate partners while ensuring required records are accurate and completed on time.
What You Will Do
- Schedule outbound cheese loads through OTM and coordinate daily truck scheduling needs.
- Schedule WPC and power loads in OTM in addition to cheese load scheduling.
- Communicate with carriers, warehouse, production, customer service, and corporate partners to support on-time shipping execution.
- Monitor load status, appointment timing, schedule changes, late loads, added loads, and transportation-related questions throughout the day.
- Support inventory accuracy by helping locate product, receiving pallets, and warehouse materials.
- Assist with product movement visibility, pallet status, and follow-up needed by warehouse and production teams.
- Support RMAs, returns, and related warehouse follow-up tasks.
- Create and coordinate sample orders for customers or corporate partners.
- File Bills of Lading and maintain organized shipping documentation.
- Maintain accurate records for loads, sample orders, RMAs, shipping activity, and other warehouse documentation.
- Escalate shipment, inventory, or documentation concerns timely when they may impact customers or operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
What You Will Bring
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse coordination, inventory control, transportation, or production support preferred.
- Ability to use OTM or learn transportation management systems quickly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with employees, managers, carriers, customers, and corporate partners.
- High attention to detail for BOL filing, load scheduling, inventory follow-up, sample orders, and RMA activity.
- Ability to work independently, follow through on daily tasks, and adjust priorities as volume changes.
- Demonstrated good attendance and satisfactory performance record.
- Forklift operation ability may be required based on assigned duties and site policy.
Physical Demands
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout warehouse and office areas during the workday.
- Ability to use a computer, phone, radio, scanner, printer, and other standard office or warehouse tools as assigned.
- May occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull materials up to 50 lbs based on operational needs.
- May work around warehouse traffic, production areas, cold storage conditions, and varying temperatures typical of food manufacturing environments.
Work Environment & Safety
- Work involves warehouse areas, shipping activity, moving forklifts, dock areas, production equipment, and pedestrian traffic.
- Required PPE may include safety shoes/boots, hearing protection, gloves, hair/beard nets, eye protection, high-visibility vest, and other PPE as assigned.
- Must follow site safety rules, food safety requirements, GMPs, and all standard operating procedures.
- Must report hazards, near misses, injuries, shipment concerns, and documentation issues timely.
Pay: $22.63 per hour
