Job Description
As a Warehouse Worker at the Exchange, you play a vital role in ensuring our customers enjoy an exceptional shopping experience. You are responsible for receiving, unloading, inspecting, and processing incoming merchandise, as well as moving, stocking, organizing, and pricing products throughout the store. Merchandise may include a wide variety of items across multiple departments, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate inventory levels.
Stockers help ensure shelves are fully stocked, merchandise is properly displayed, and products are readily available for customers. By maintaining an organized sales floor and stockroom, you contribute directly to the efficient operation of the Exchange and the satisfaction of our customers. - Deliver extraordinary customer experience by engaging customers and prioritizing customer needs over tasks
- Unload, break-out and stock merchandise with efficiency and accuracy
- Listen to customer needs; ask appropriate follow-up questions to ensure you offer appropriate products that meet the specific need of the customer

Education: High school or equivalent. General experience: Six months of progressively responsible general experience which may have involved retail sales floor experience, is desirable.

Major Duties
Unloads merchandise delivery vehicles. Examines cases and packages for indication of damage or pilferage and points out discrepancies to supervisor.
Segregates merchandise by designated department or sales center and stages it for transport to sales floor. Strips wrapping from FDC merchandise and inserts hangers.
Moves merchandise to sales floor using hand, roller rack, pallet jack, dolly, or hand truck.
Displays and replenishes merchandise in a neat and presentable fashion in accordance with instructions. Price-marks merchandise as needed. Advises supervisor when damaged/defective merchandise is found.
Cleans fixtures and removes boxes, trash, and excess merchandise from sales floor.
Pulls backup merchandise from various locations in the stockroom, according to information provided by the reorder associate, and stages for the following days stocking. Assists in the conduct of interim and official inventories.
Ensures compliance with fire, safety, sanitation, and security regulations.
Actively communicates/promotes the benefits of the military star credit card to customers in order to drive sales growth and increase customer loyalty. Performs other duties as assigned.
