About this role

As part of Wealth Management Solutions, the U.S. Funds Product Development team is responsible for the design, development, launch, and ongoing management of proprietary mutual funds within the Six Circles Fund complex. The complex consists of 10 mutual funds designed exclusively for JPMorgan discretionary portfolios managed by the Chief Investment Office (CIO) and sub-advised by leading third-party asset managers. The team oversees the full product lifecycle, including new product development, enhancement of existing offerings, and management of strategic relationships with sub-advisers. Operating within a highly regulated environment governed by the SEC and the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Six Circles platform utilizes more than a dozen sub-advisers and supports more than $150 billion in client assets.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead all phases of the product development life-cycle for new mutual fund launches, including feasibility analysis, investment design, governance approvals, and end-to-end implementation

  • Provide thought leadership on investment solutions, product structure, and platform evolution, partnering with the CIO, sub-advisers, and key stakeholders to develop innovative approaches that enhance portfolio construction, improve scalability, and support evolving client and business needs

  • Drive the development and implementation of new investment strategies, sub-adviser relationships, and product enhancements across the Six Circles platform

  • Partner closely with CIO, the sub-advisers, and internal stakeholders, including Legal, Compliance, Middle Office, and Fund Administration, to support the ongoing management and enhancement of existing products

  • Lead strategic initiatives that promote innovation, operational efficiency, and the continued evolution of the complex

  • Develop and manage complex cross-functional project plans, coordinating stakeholders to deliver product, regulatory, operational, and governance initiatives

  • Manage key relationships with sub-advisers and service providers to support successful product implementation, oversight, and ongoing platform enhancement

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

  • 7+ years of experience in financial services, preferably with experience in product development of 1940 Act investment vehicles (mutual funds, ETFs)

  • Strong knowledge of mutual funds and other managed investment products, including their operational, governance, and regulatory frameworks

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives, including product launches, restructurings, operational enhancements, or regulatory change implementation

  • Ability to provide thought leadership on investment product design, platform capabilities, and operating models, balancing investment objectives with operational, regulatory, and business considerations

  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities, mitigate risks, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to synthesize complex concepts into clear recommendations and executive-ready materials

  • Proven ability to influence outcomes and build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups, including investment professionals, senior management, control functions, and external partners

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to challenge assumptions, identify risks, and develop practical solutions to complex issues

Collaborative team orientation coupled with strong ownership, attention to detail, and accountability for delivering high-quality results

  • Proficiency with core MS Office applications (e.g. Excel and PowerPoint); experience leveraging data analytics, AI tools, or programming languages (e.g., Python) is a plus
