Wealth R&D Team Overview
The Wealth Research & Development (R&D) team at State Street is a newer strategic innovation group focused on designing and delivering next-generation wealth management solutions. This team operates as an incubator for new ideas, leveraging advanced technology, data analytics, and client-centric design to transform how wealth services are delivered.
What you will be responsible for
- Research & Analysis: Support market research, competitive analysis, and trend identification to inform product strategy and innovation priorities.
- Data & Insights: Assist in gathering, cleaning, and analyzing data to support AI-driven initiatives and digital platform development.
- Product Development Support: Collaborate with product managers and engineers on design documentation, feature testing, and quality assurance for emerging solutions.
- Innovation Projects: Contribute to proof-of-concept initiatives, helping validate new technologies and approaches for wealth platforms.
- Client-Centric Design: Participate in user research activities, persona development, and feedback sessions to ensure solutions meet client needs.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders across technology, product, and strategy teams to align deliverables with business objectives.
- Presentation & Reporting: Prepare summaries, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and progress to leadership and project teams.

- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with tools for data analysis (Excel, Python, or similar) and an interest in emerging technologies like AI and digital platforms.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Finance or Liberal Arts
