Overview
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Web Developer Intern with an interest in A/B testing, experimentation, and data‑driven optimization. This role blends front‑end development with hands‑on experience implementing and validating experiments that improve user engagement and digital performance. Ideal for candidates passionate about web technologies, UI/UX, and learning how personalization and testing shape enterprise‑level digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and update web components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS‑driven frameworks.
Support the setup, validation, and QA of A/B tests, multivariate tests, and personalization experiences.
Collaborate with UX, analytics, and content teams to implement testing hypotheses and technical requirements.
Build or modify components to support experiment variations (layout, copy, imagery, UI behavior, etc.).
Validate experiment behavior across devices, browsers, and customer segments.
Maintain documentation for test variations, implementation steps, and results.
Troubleshoot issues related to test triggers, targeting, data collection, or rendering differences.
Qualifications
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Software Engineering, Web Development, Digital Media, or similar fields.
Strong foundational skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Understanding of responsive web design and accessibility fundamentals.
Ability to perform front‑end QA, debug browser issues, and work with developer tools.
Interest in experimentation, personalization, and data‑driven decision‑making.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new testing platforms and development practices.
Preferred Skills
Exposure to A/B testing or experimentation platforms (e.g., Adobe Target, Optimizely, LaunchDarkly, VWO).
Basic web development tools and methodologies
Understanding of analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics).
Familiarity with version control (Git).
Basic understanding of JSON, REST APIs, or component‑based UI frameworks.
