<h1>Must be 21+ to apply | Weekend Availability Required</h1><div><strong>Youth Sports LEAD Official – [SPORT]</strong></div><div>We are seeking a motivated and dependable LEAD Official to oversee gameday operations for our <strong>weekend </strong>programs. This role is responsible for leading a team of officials, ensuring smooth and organized events, and creating a positive, fun, and safe experience for all participants.</div><div>The ideal candidate is a confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively, and is passionate about youth sports development.</div><div>
<br><strong>Leadership & Game Day Management</strong>
</div><ul>
<li>Lead and support a team of officials, ensuring all games start on time and run efficiently.</li>
<li>Provide training and ongoing support to new and returning staff.</li>
<li>Manage staff scheduling, rotations, and break periods throughout the day.</li>
<li>Serve as the on-site leader and primary point of contact for all game day operations.</li>
<li>Address conflicts or concerns in real-time with professionalism and sound judgment.</li>
<li>Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment for staff, players, coaches, and families.</li>
</ul><div><strong>Venue & Equipment Oversight</strong></div><ul>
<li>Set up and break down all equipment required for gameplay.</li>
<li>Ensure the venue is clean, organized, and fully prepared before the first game.</li>
<li>Conduct routine safety and quality checks before, during, and after events</li>
<li>Maintain a professional and welcoming environment for all attendees.</li>
<li>Lift, carry, and transport equipment (up to 30 lbs) as part of game day operations.</li>
</ul><div><strong>Communication & Team Collaboration</strong></div><ul>
<li>Communicate clearly with coaches, players, parents, and staff.</li>
<li>Provide constructive feedback and guidance to officials.</li>
<li>Address questions or concerns in a calm, respectful, and solutions-focused manner.</li>
<li>Promote a culture of integrity, teamwork, and positive sportsmanship.</li>
</ul><div><strong>Qualifications</strong></div><ul>
<li>Must be 21 years of age or older</li>
<li>Prior officiating experience required (youth sports preferred)</li>
<li>Previous leadership or management experience required (sports, coaching, or event operations preferred)</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of rules and gameplay</li>
<li>Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills</li>
<li>Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure</li>
<li>Highly organized and capable of managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously</li>
<li>Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented</li>
<li>Comfortable working with children and families in a dynamic environment</li>
<li>Availability to work evenings and weekends throughout the season</li>
<li>Physically capable of lifting up to 30 lbs and performing setup/breakdown duties<br><br>
