Requirements

Merakey is seeking a passionate Wellness Coordinator to serve as a liaison between Children's Services and the communities of Southeastern Pennsylvania. In this role, you will educate families, staff, and community partners on child abuse prevention, behavioral health, mental health awareness, safety, and available local resources.

The Wellness Coordinator plays a vital role in increasing access to behavioral health services by connecting individuals and families with the support they need while helping reduce the risk of child abuse and neglect through education, outreach, and prevention initiatives.

 

Hourly: $25.12 per week - 24 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between Merakey Children's Services and the Southeastern Pennsylvania community.
  • Develop and facilitate educational trainings for families, staff, schools, and community organizations.
  • Provide education on child abuse prevention, child safety, behavioral health, mental health awareness, and available community resources.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, schools, and referral sources.
  • Promote awareness of behavioral health services and encourage individuals and families to access appropriate care.
  • Coordinate and participate in community outreach events, health fairs, and educational programs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify community needs and support prevention initiatives.
  • Maintain knowledge of local resources and provide referrals to individuals and families as appropriate.
  • Support initiatives that improve community wellness and increase access to behavioral health services.
