Compensation

Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Position Summary

Summary:
The simulation coordinator will coordinate simulations, manage equipment, supply inventories and make recommendations for the purchase of new equipment. The simulation coordinator will complete an annual inventory as well as schedule routine maintenance of equipment, oversee software updates, facilitate repairs and plan for service contracts with vendors. The simulation coordinator supervises administrative functions for the assigned Residency Program (Podiatry). The simulation coordinator assists the manager of Medical Education in other projects, as requested.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:
Education Required
• Must complete in-house orientation program

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Bachelor degree preferred.

Experience And Skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Speaks, reads and writes English

• Simulation educator and/or Medical Education/Residency Coordination experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Good judgement and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Organized with excellent follow through

License/Certifications
• Certified healthcare simulation educator (CHSE)
