2026 Part-Time Cyber Security Engineering Intern - Aurora CO

Northrop Grumman is a space and defense company developing solutions for government, civil, and commercial customers. The company is seeking a part-time Cyber Security Engineering Intern to support its Vehicle and Mechanical Engineering team within the Space sector in Aurora, Colorado, with a focus on cyber security and systems administration.

What you'll do:

• Become part of Northrop Grumman’s Vehicle and Mechanical Engineering team
• Work within a Cyber Security and Systems Administration domain for an active Program

What they're looking for:

• Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Spring 2027
• Be majoring in Computer Science, Cyber or Cyber Security, IT/Systems Administration, Computer Information Systems' or related STEM majors
• Be available to work part-time (no more than 20 hours per week) during the **fall 2026 semester.**
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
• Has some basic education or knowledge about Servers and Networking technologies
• Interest in learning more about and working within a Cyber Security and Systems Administration domain for an active Program
• Willingness to obtain a Security+ Certification
• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher
• Existing an Security + Certification
