2027 AI & Analytics Intern

Trane Technologies creates comfortable, sustainable, and efficient climate solutions for buildings, homes, and transportation. The AI & Analytics Intern will collaborate with analytics teams, analyze large data sets, and apply analytical tools to develop models, visualizations, reports, and actionable business insights.

What you'll do:

• Collaborates with others on the analytics team to develop an understanding of the data, the business, and technical approaches. Understand data sets essential to developing models, visualizations, reports, and insights
• Views problems as opportunities and can adapt quickly to new or changing business circumstances
• Proactively seeks new information, skills, and experiences, capitalizing on learning opportunities
• Works effectively with others to coordinate efforts and produce results in a positive work environment
• Motivated to leverage key learnings and experiences to grow your own career while contributing to the growth of Trane Technologies
• Demonstrated ability to leverage analytical tools to extract and analyze large data sets to provide actionable insights to the business
• Coursework or experience utilizing some or all of the following: Python, R, SQL, Dataiku, Tableau, or other visualization software, cloud based tools like BigQuery, Redshift
• Willing to be mobile and relocate anywhere in the United States
• Pursuing a BS/BA in Analytics related field such as Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, or similar with a cumulative overall GPA at or above 3.0 and an interest in a career in Analytics or AI/Data Science
• Minimum Work Experience: At least one internship or work experience
• Demonstrated leadership skills such as: campus organizations, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership of work projects
• U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
