2027 BNY Summer Internship Program - Engineering (Data Science) - Lake Mary, FL

The Engineering (Data Science) intern will apply data science and analytical methods, develop models and automated tools, and collaborate with engineering and business teams to improve decision-making and operational outcomes.

What you'll do:

• Apply data science and analytical methods to solve real business and engineering problems
• Analyze data, perform profiling and feature engineering, and identify patterns, trends, and anomalies
• Build and automate analytical processes, models, and tools that improve decision-making and efficiency
• Partner with teams across engineering and the business to turn data insights into practical recommendations
• Help teams better understand business outcomes through data-driven insight and analysis
• Contribute to solutions that improve processes, uncover opportunities, and support smarter decisions
• Support the development of analytical capabilities that strengthen products, platforms, and operations

What they're looking for:

• Graduating in Dec 2027 or May 2028 (U.S.)
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
• Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the country where applying
• Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors preferred
