2027 BNY Summer Internship Program - Office of the CFO - Finance & Strategy (New York, NY)

BNY is a global financial services company offering a 10-week summer internship program for high-potential students. The Office of the CFO - Finance & Strategy Intern will support financial planning and analysis, reporting, market and competitor analysis, balance sheet analysis, capital management, and strategic planning while contributing to decision-making and process improvement.

What you'll do:

• Support teams that help maintain BNY’s financial integrity, support sustainable growth, and drive operational excellence across the firm
• Assist with work related to financial planning and analysis, reporting, market and competitor analysis, balance sheet analysis, capital management, and strategic planning
• Conduct data analysis and help interpret financial information to provide insights into business performance, risks, and opportunities for efficiency
• Collaborate across lines of business and corporate functions on projects that support decision-making, process improvement, and the use of emerging financial technologies
• Help support financial processes and analysis that inform decision-making across the firm
• Contribute to work that improves efficiency, supports growth, and strengthens financial oversight
• Support teams evaluating business performance, financial results, and strategic initiatives

• Enterprise-wide onboarding and development programming, including an in person immersive induction experience, executive speaker series, skill development, and networking opportunities

What they're looking for:

• Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program
• Graduating in Dec 2027 or May 2028 (U.S.)
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
• Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the country where applying
• Strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors preferred
