About this role
BNY is a financial services institution offering a summer internship program for high-potential students. The Product Management Intern will support product discovery, research, roadmap development, requirements documentation, product evaluation, performance tracking, and cross-functional delivery activities.
What you'll do:
- Research user behavior, client needs, market trends, and competitor activity to inform product priorities and positioning
- Participate in discovery activities by gathering feedback from users, clients, and stakeholders and helping identify unmet needs and opportunities
- Support roadmap development by organizing requirements, synthesizing research and stakeholder feedback, and helping teams evaluate trade-offs
- Help evaluate early product concepts and prototypes by gathering feedback, documenting observations, and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Assist in documenting product requirements, user journeys, process flows, and other artifacts that help teams align on product direction
- Track product adoption, usage, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and business teams to help move ideas from discovery through delivery and launch
- Help teams design products and experiences that better match what clients need now and next
- Contribute to product decisions grounded in evidence, feedback, and measurable outcomes
- Gain visibility into how innovation, strategy, and execution come together inside BNY
- Enterprise-wide onboarding and development programming, including an in person immersive induction experience, executive speaker series, skill development, and networking opportunities
- Meaningful project work aligned to key business practices and platforms, providing hands-on experience, skill development, and real-world business impact
What they're looking for:
- Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors preferred
- Graduating in Dec 2027 or May 2028 (U.S.)
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
- Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the country where applying
