2027 BOLT Intern - Terminals Engineering Project Managment

Kinder Morgan is an energy infrastructure company providing energy transportation and storage services across North America. The BOLT Intern will support terminal operations and engineering projects through operational data analysis, capital project development, and safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll do:

• Analysis and reporting of key operational data
• Understanding and assisting in the development and implementation of capital projects
• Recognize and promote ideas that provide a safer, more efficient and cost-effective operation
• Actively participate and champion efforts to continuously improve the safety of operations including the safety committee, safety inspections, safety audits, compliance with policies and procedures, tailgate meetings, incident investigations, root cause analysis, completion of action items, safety incentive program, measurement of key performance indicators and the development of continuous improvement initiatives
• Other duties as assigned

What they're looking for:

• • Working toward a degree in Energy Management, Finance, Supply Chain, or Engineering
• • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office - (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• • Good verbal and written communication skills
• • Ability and desire to work in a team environment and to be able to work independently
• • Technical writing ability
• • Engineering knowledge or skills
• • Entering Junior or Senior year of college
• • Travel within the Houston area may be required
• • Additional hours may be required to meet the needs of the region and its customers
